HUD's New Fair Housing Assault On Every Community in America

"AFFH gives the federal government a lever to re-engineer nearly every American neighborhood — imposing a preferred racial and ethnic composition, densifying housing, transportation, and business development in suburb and city alike, and weakening or casting aside the authority of local governments over core responsibilities, from zoning to transportation to education."  For Details....    Another Article source...   And Another... And Another (January 2016)  And one more as of March, 2016

The Real Unemployment Rate

The U3 Measure of unemployment is the monthly standard reported by the BLS.  A better measure is U6, which includes discouraged workers, part time staff seeking full time, temporary staff seeking permanent jobs.  The U6 measure indicates that, headed into 2016, the unemployment rate is in the 12% range.  This measure is not reported by the media.

Is Government To Big To Fail?

According to a new report by the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI), the cost of regulations was an estimated $1.8 Trillion in 2014, in terms of lost economic activity and higher prices.

Among the key findings:

"Federal regulation and intervention cost American consumers and businesses an estimated $1.88 trillion in 2014 in lost economic productivity and higher prices,” amounting to roughly $15,000 per household, the report said.

The report found that the federal bureaucracy—made up of 60 agencies, departments, and commissions—has 3,415 regulations in the process of being finalized, meaning that the number of regulations far surpasses the number of laws passed by Congress.

“In 2014, agencies issued 16 new regulations for every law—that’s 3,554 new regulations compared to 224 new laws,” the report said.

Growth of Government: The Federal government has used the Commerce clause to justify intrusion into any economic activity in the US. A fourth branch of government has emerged, hundreds of agencies created by Congress over time and unaccountable to anyone, busy writing 40,000+ new regulations per year, impacting every facet of commerce in the country.  Support candidates who endorse ending the suppression of the economy by federal agencies by limiting the powers of these agencies.
